Welcome to the Illinois Fencers Club. We meet at the Lions Memorial Park/ Recreation Center every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Saturday schedules vary. Click here for hours and schedules. Our club is a member in good standing with the United States Fencing Association.

The IFC mission is to
promote and teach the Olympic sport of The Illinois Fencers Club has been in existence for over 30 years now. It originally started as a place where senior fencers would practice and have a good time. Over the years, our club has evolved and now includes Youth Program, Adult Classes and free fencing practice for our members. We have 8 electric strips that are rarely left unused. Our Saturday hours are changing Starting September 6th, Saturday hours are from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Results from the 2008 USFA Summer Nationals IFC Youth fencers had a great tournament, and two of our epee greats team up for another surprise win!
Alexa Laskaris - 9th in Y10 Women's Foil (51 fencers) - the most improved fencer since last SNAT
Devin Zayas - 10th in DIV III - Men's Sabre (92 fencers)
Darek Koman - 18th in DIV III - Men's Sabre (92 fencers)
Tasha Domashovetz - 13th in DIV II Women's Epee (80 fencers)
Daniel Brissette - 21st in Y14 Men's Epee (135 fencers)
Maciek Zmyslowski - 24th DIV II Men's Epee (113 fencers)
Former IFC member Christine Dominick who won DIV IA Women's Epee in 2004, teamed up with her former IFC coach Ina Harizanova to win another title in this event.
