September 2, 2007 - at Lions Memorial Park
Conditioning Clinic
9:00 AM to
3:00 PM
This clinic is built around fencing conditioning, planning the season, and nutrition and mental preparation pertaining to the preliminary stage of training. It will include footwork, blade work, partner drills and individual lessons. Fees: $75/$70 for students and veterans over 50.   Click here for more information.
January 6, 2008 - at Lions Memorial Park
Pre-Competitive Clinic

3:00 PM
Each sport season includes periods of general preparation, a competitive period and a transitional period. The pre-competitive clinic was designed to address the general preparation period. This clinic will focus on the first stage of the competitive period and the pre-competitive stage. We will work on specific speed and endurance skills for fencing.  There will be drills on technical, tactical and mental preparation. Summer Nationals Clinic

4:00 PM
These two, one day clinics will provide an opportunity for the fencers who qualified for the 2008 Summer Nationals to participate in a full day event with long duration and high intensity.  The experience in this clinic will be very close to the type of work load at the Summer Nationals.  No regular tournament will provide you with the experience  you will receive here.
