  • Registration Form - Before the class begins, please fill out the Registration Form and give it to the class instructor.
 The IFC is offering an Advanced Fencing Class for Children and Teens, ages 9 to 14.  The student should have prior fencing experience, such as the one gained in the  Intermediate Foil Class.  Participants will progress in their knowledge of footwork, blade work, fencing rules and strategies.  They will continue to improve their bouting abilities.  We begin our class with warm up games and stretches and then move on to footwork.  The main focus will be on tactics.  9 group lessons are included.  Participants are encouraged to take private lessons.
  • Coach Harizanova will be the instructor for this class.
  • All necessary equipment (masks, gloves, weapons and jackets) is provided for your use by the club.  Wear loose fitting clothing:  t-shirt, sweatpants and sneakers.  It is also recommended that students bring a towel and sports drink.
  • Foil Fencing will be the concentration.
  • In order to participate, registration fees must be paid on the first day of class to the instructor.
  • This class is limited to ten children.
